My Definition of Success | My perception of success has definitely changed over the years due to growth and a deeper understanding of myself and my craft. You really are only as good as your last production in this industry and I believe that, as an artist, I am always learning.
I Am Driven By | My family, my children and my passion for this God given gift. I believe that everything we do is a calling and acting for me is definitely a calling. I am here to heal, to touch people’s lives through my work and hopefully they are moved… be it spiritually, emotionally or motivated to be and do better.
I think my ‘MAGIC’ comes from | GOD and I must say I also think my wife has a huge part to play in that…She is my biggest critic, my cheerleader, my advisor. She’s a whole lot!!
My Life-Mission in Once Sentence is | To fully execute and excel in my mandate that has landed me on this earth and this Life!
The Difference Between Good and Great | Respect and Discipline
A Key Talent | Respect, self-respect and respect for others.
My Biggest Failure/Learning Experience | We fail every day in different ways but I choose not to see it as failure as such because, if I do that, I risk falling 10 steps backwards instead of learning from my short comings and taking it as all part of the process. Besides I hate the word ‘fail.
The Characteristics of Success | Perseverance and respect.
How I got Over Feeling Stuck | Well, I think at first I didn’t understand it because nobody wants to be stuck, jobless and almost worthless. But I had to find things to do like coping mechanisms to distract me from the actual situation… I started painting and sometimes sold those paintings, but it was only when I found that there is a thing called “Timing” – God’s Timing…. that’s when I understood that things happen on God’s Timing not necessarily our own – it is the synchronization of the timings that is key.
Performing at my peak | I train, I exercise – I love going to the gym even though sometimes I don’t have the luxury of time, I try my best to keep fit.
I am inspired by | My Wife, my kids and Life itself.
Balancing High Performance with Happiness and Contentment | I guess at first when we all start out in the industry we think all we need is money and we will be happy – then after that 1st pay check you discover that there is more to life than just money. I don’t think I really knew the true meaning of contentment until I met my wife. Only once our paths crossed and we decided to journey together did I really begin to blossom and have a deeper and true understanding of what happiness and contentment are.
The Best Advice I’ve Received | Never change who you are in order for people to love you. Respect everyone!
